KT&G SangsangMadang Design Product Business Team supports domestic designers
for their creative activities. We hope to enhance domestic design industry with our various programs
of design products development, sales, distribution, exhibitions and so on

+Design Exhibition

Plan exhibitions of young and talented designers and support them in various ways.
Introduce varied designs to the public as well as provide space to promote products
and check the market. The space can be used for introducing designers’ products,
brand launchings and pop-up stores of other companies. (Exhibition space: 7.26㎡)

+Design Shop

It’s a multi-shop selling domestic independent designers’ brand products.
In Design Square you can meet fresh ideas of young designers and as a place
of communication between designers and customers you can see the flow
of design trend at a glance. We are dealing with 2,000 products from living to fashion items.

+Design Merchandising

We can help your imagination design become a reality.
By SangsangMadang Design Award and SangsangMadang Free Design Suggestion,
we boost product development using MOCK-UP making with 3D printer for new products creation.

+SangsangMadang Design Award

Active designers, as well as the general public and aspiring designers who are interested in product design,
are eligible for SangsangMadang Design Award, and the winner will be awarded with the support program for
production, distribution and exhibition in SangsangMadang Design Square of the selected product.
The most desperate need for domestic designers is a foothold to sustain them.
The main purpose of SangsangMadang Design Award is not to produce short term profits and disappear
but to establish virtuous circular structure to let designers create products under stable conditions and
deduce profits through stable distribution. Each year, with different topics, the award is presented
with the winner receiving support for the production, sale and distribution of the selected goods.

+SangsangMadang Free Design Suggestion

This is a merchandizing program sharing the same purpose with SangsangMadang Design Award.
It is open on a regular basis to allow designers to merchandize their cool designs whenever they want
and the overall merchandizing expenses is supported in the form of investment.
Also, profits from the sales of goods will be shared sufficiently.

+Design Modeling Service

To encourage designers’ creative enthusiasm and help their active design activities,
KT&G SangsangMadang introduces Design Modeling Service using 3D printer.
It can create any forms from datas in 3D programs within a size (200x250x200mm) in a short time.
